Tabasco chiles are the only chiles that are juicy; all other chiles are dry inside.

(A coworker once gave me a tabasco plant. I cut the end off one chile and squeezed a drop of the juice onto a teaspoon. My daughter, about 13 at the time, asked for a taste. She tried it and stood there for about two seconds with a smile on her face. The next instant you'd have thought that she'd been hit by a truck. She said it burned for hours. Don't try this at home.)

When I was in High School a favourite trick was to open a chilli and let other students feel the felty texture inside. Guaranteed within 20 minutes they will rub there eyes and then the fun starts.
