Default Infinity Satellites

Just installed my Infinity Reference satellites this weekend. For $69.95, I'm impressed. they look good (IMO) and swivel. The flush mount kit was easy to install, and they sound fantastic. What a difference! They also came with two other mounting setups and have built in crossovers. I hooked them up in parallel with my 6 1/2's and they sound great.

What 6.5s do you have installed?

Infinity 6.5's, not sure what series. I was too cheap to buy the ones that came with satellites the first time, but they have their own angled tweeters. I think they are Reference series as well. I remember they ran about $90 when I bought them about 6 mos ago.

I think I have the same speakers. The pivoting tweeter was a nice touch, though the speakers barely fit in the door.

Yeah. I could only get 3 of the 4 screws in when I used the stock speaker cups. Even then, I had to cut the collar off of the cup because the Infinity's wouldn't fit in them. Good sound though.

I used Lucid's adapter. I remember there being about 1/10" clearance to the window, and the tweeter was 1/4" from the door. But they do sound good.

Now if I could just find a way to make a 10-inch sub sound as good as it does now, while mounting it in a box that is half the size...

Nads across your nose, Corey.

Where are you trying to put the sub?
