Irish and Brittish?
Like 2 months ago my g/f went on vacation with her family in D.C. Since she was gone and I was bored I decided to have a friend over at our house and we'd drink and little and kick it. Well my g/f's best friend calls and comes over to chill with us. Well the night goes on and we are having a blast just getting all
faced when all the sudden my friend, who is Irish, starts getting upset. He looks over at Crystal (might have a K, I dunno) and says "What the
quit talking like a
ing brit! She looks at him and was like "What the
are you talking about!" and they started arguing over whether or not she sounded like she was from England. She is from the valley in California so she talks a little funny anyways, that along with the alchohol and it was even funnier, and did sound a little bit Brittish. Anyways, she ended up calling a cab and we waited for it for a long time then I talked her into staying the night. It was still a fun night even though my Irish friend ruined it by his (for lack of a better word) hatred for Brits, or maybe just their accent, I dunno. Is there a reason for his attitude towards the British? Someone enlighten me please. He says it's the way he was raised, not a good enough excuse to make my friend Crystal feel like that.
