I realized the other day that I would rather be the executive assistant to an extremely senior person than to be a manager or such in my own right. Why? Simple. Power...or access to it.

I'm learning a great deal right now and laying the groundwork for the rest of my career. 7 months in this job has opened up more doors than the last 7 years in my career...
