Thanks for the info on the red paint, kids. On Suzuka, there is absolutely no color during wash/wax. I believe it's possible that red has no clearcoat. Color me surprised!!

it's a synthetic "wax" that pretty much repels everything. You can use it on your windshield and wheels and it will keep the rain and brake dust from sticking.

It's like Rainx for the windshield but lasts so much longer. I put it on the windshield for my Passat and the rain still beads right off the windshield.
