This should cheer you up:

I raced my neighbor's LT1 Camaro today in my Camaro. His is a 9sec sleeper, riding on 18x10s all around. It's not a chassy car, but it's not tubbed or a half-back either - just different rear end (4-link) and front clip.

He's running a sprayed Hardcore 427 small-block, and makes 900hp at the wheels on 110-octane!

The best part is other than the wheels and exhaust sound (it's not even that loud), there's no visual clues as to what it's capable of (it even has those dual exhaust tips that point down, like on a V6 Camar).

but get this, he picked the front wheels up off the ground when he launched it! :boner: :splooge:


his name is jimmy and he comes out and plays with us on I-10, every now and then. the bastard is fast from a roll, AND a stop. from a roll, my dad's old monte didn't even stand a chance...

but then again, the monte is geared for the 1/4mi; it's not a street car...
