James, are you going to any more World Cup matches?
I am afraid not
Tickets are really hard to get hold off! Unless you are prepared to pay between US$ 600 - 1200 for each game!!!

I am still trying to get tickets for other matches, but not at those prices!!!
Trying desperately to get one (well two actually!) for the England v Argentina match on Friday at a reasonable price, but this is not really a realistic goal I don't think!
Wathing them all on TV though,

Sounds like when Wisconsin came to the Rose Bowl a few years ago and literally hundreds of rooters, promised tcckets, didn't get any and they were scalped just before the game to the same fans at outrageous prices.

I think what has happened here is that the tickets are sent out to the FA's in the individual countries and they distribute them within their own country. Any tickets that are not sold/allocated by a specific FA should be returned to the ticketing company, who, in turn advise the Japan/Korean organisers, who then sell them on the open market, through FIFA.
It seems that Japan/Korea had not been advised that there were something like 2000 odd tickets for each match that had not been sold, and it has just come to light!
