Jen got home safely. I talked to her last night as she was driving home after her flight.

Sounds like a great welcome back to the mid-Atlantic! I was watching some weird alien flick and I heard what sounded like something climbing up the side of the house Then I looked out the window and saw this nasty black cloud, rotating and spewing lightning and rain heading our way. I raced out to pick up the kids at six flags, but half way there the storm hit. The kids were really soaked by the time I got there.

This was a priceless phone call, I wish I had a tape recorder, Jen sounded like a giddy school girl squealing as she got soaked in the torrential storm! I could actually hear how hard it was pouring on her.

Those are always fun storms. I was driving topless to a wedding reception on Saturday and was stuck on a bridge in traffic when there was a sudden DOWNPOUR that thankfully lasted less than a minute!

I love driving topless in the rain!

LOL! That is some funny stuff....reminds me of last week...I had not driven my S2000 in so long that I could not remember and I thought I would go out for a quick topless drive....I moved some cars out of the way, pulled out the S2000 and dropped the top....no more than 5 minutes into it...BLAM!! Rain!! I was so missing driving the car that I just kept motoring along....my car got a little damp, but nothing major. I just drove fast and called home to have them raise the garage door so that I could just fly into the garage!
