If you need further proof, Texas is the only state...

Allowed to cecede (sp?) from the US and form its own country.
In which civilians can legally shoot to kill.
Where it's legal to walk around with firearms (includes towing a howitzer on the back of your minivan).
With the letters A X S T E arranged in this fashion: TEXAS.
