hehe.. ok. maybe you can help me too.. im tryin to make an avatar... i shrink it in photoshop, but then can't get the filesize under the 5k mark.. what do i do?

Its tough you have to remove most of the resources (make web ready I think they call it)

resize your pic in your program (photoshop, etc) and then there is an optimize tab, play with the .jpg quality

yea.. that i tried.. i didnt optimize.. but when i saved it, i put the bar all the way to save as low quality... maybe i can reduce it more.. i have adobe imageready too.. im sure one of those programs HAS to be able to make a simple avatar.. hehe.

Yeah I am no photoshop expert. I meant resize it locally then upload it to that site and let them optimize it. never fails for me
