It's going good thanks. Apart from a small point. I have a new boss as from yesterday, and the first thing that I have done since I started working for him ..... refused to go on a business trip that he wants me to make .....

He wants me to leave this week to go to Vietnam until 23 December. I have said that I am not happy about that and that I will leave on Monday, but must be back on 19th December.

I don't think it is reasonable for him to expect me to be away for 3 weekends leading into Christmas (the Japanese don't celebrate Christmas, so he doesn't think about this sort of thing !).

Looks like he is going to agree to my terms, but doesn't really set us of on the right foot !!!
