Would someone explain to me WHEN this has EVER happened???

I ordered the PC day before yesterday... Dell shows an estimated delivery date of June 13 - June 15, which is perfect since I am off M-W... and the damned thing is being delivered today!!! So, now I have to take tomorrow off to be home for the delivery because I can't go pick it up at UPS because it won't fit in the S2000!!!

Murphy's Law... you want it early it comes late... you want it on time... it comes early!
I've ordered 6 times from Dell, and 5 of them came earlier than their expected delivery date. The other one was a day late, but given that it was ordered around December 20th and delivered during a long snowstorm, it's hard to complain.

UPS Sucks... I was hoping to call them and ask them to tell the delivery guy to deliver in the morning... but they said the best they can do is deliver between 9am - 7pm.

That's not an accurate time slot is it?

Set an intermediate expectation level and make sure you deliver better than expected. Common practice.
