You gals/guys DO know they're supposed to be making a movie, right? I originally saw this on Entertainment Tonight, but here it is from the NY Post.
February 9, 2004 -- FANS of "Sex and the City" will be relieved to know their favorite foursome are planning a return, but not on the small screen. "A 'Sex' movie is in the works," says our Hollywood insider. "Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon will all be in it." Although "Sex" is in its last season for HBO (the final scenes were shot last week), spies say series creator Candace Bushnell is in talks with ABC for a development deal, which would most likely include a young, hip, cleaner version of "Sex." The now-unemployed Davis (right) put in an appearance at the 56th annual Director's Guild Awards in Century City, Calif., Reps for HBO and ABC didn't return calls.
