Bear- '59 Mercedes 300SL Roadster...custom frame...custom suspension, custom body work, running a 2001 Ford Mustang Cobra engine, retooled to 400 street legal horses at the rear wheels, custom exhaust, custom hardtop, custom fuel cell, etc, etc,.....4 years of building and tinkering...scraping together nickels and dimes out of love. Basically the body was just a shell (not even a floorpan) that I built into a track car and then detuned and civilized for street use. She'll still rattle your fillings though. I just don't have the heart to sell her (call me a softy)

 

Oh yeah...and she's black because black is the sneakiest color

 

oh, Rose is not running the stock engine either (too much trouble finding parts) Replaced it with a v-6 and weber carbs...simliar sound...less hassle. the engine has 130 miles on it since it's rebuild.

 

Oh BTW...people give me crap for having names for my cars....I don't name them....they get their names from other people...Kelly has the job of naming my S2000 when I get it.

 

I'd love to see pics of both. From the sounds of it, Bear is DEFINITELY a keeper!!

How much would you sell the spider for?

 

As for names...I name my bicycles, so you'll get no crap from me...
