Bush bashing threads please the moderators here so they are okay to stay alive outside politics for 80+ pages, that is until someone disagrees with the bashing and the

No, the only thing we know is that Cheney shot his hunting partner. He is absolutely guilty of shooting Whittington. Accidentally perhaps, almost certainly not intentionally.
Typical of Bushies, they don't bother explaining what happened, then lied about when Bush was informed, skirted the situation when questioned. If it was really a complete accident why not come out and say (Sunday) "Cheney shot a hunting partner after a breakdown in communications occured" ? Instead we get "There was a shooting accident." Why let it become an issue? This shouldn't be a political issue at all, but because it was handled the same way Bush and Co. do everything (clumsily), it becomes one.
