Everytime I've ended a relationship that's been going for a long time (year or more) and ended up in another relationship the "recovery time" has seemed quite sudden. One minute I'm wondering if I'm over it and the next I'm thinking how good life is.

For the record, I've never had a "rebound" relationship. I've always entered into a new relationship able to commit to it fully and not wonder if I should still be with the old girlfriend.
