So was it a wild wolf, or someone's pet?

My neighbors had wolves when I was a kid. I used to love to hear them howl when I was going to bed.

A friend of one of the boys has a wolf. Really wild eyes. They're cold and steely with far away look. Sort of like he sees something I can't see.

Nah, never met anyone bit by a wolf,

But I was once bitten by an ill-tempered chipmunk.

Does that qualify?

Well...I was climbing a ridge out in the woods....but people in CT, like many other areas of the country, try to breed them as pets, and then they either give up and let them loose or the wolves escape on their own...no telling where it came from.

I was climbing a rock face in CT...The top of the ridge was a negative angle (couldn't see over it. When I made it to the lip and brought my right arm over the side to pull myself up, the wolf got me by my forearm (probably heard me, but didn't know what I was) I managed to yank my arm free........and then fall 16 feet before my rope caught me and I got slammed into the ridge, messing up my shoulder......I repelled back down and out of the valley and drove myself to the hospital. I assure you I am not rabid

Actually I think I told Alex this story and said the only side effects were that I am almost completely carnivorous, fantastic in the sack, and I occasionally howl
