A little teaser.. just moving in to my new apartment so kinda busy, but thought all of you s might enjoy a pic of the new car
Is it me, or does the light pole in the upper left, look like it's got bumper pads on it?

I'm guessing they've seen George back up.

Holy hell. I wish that was my first car. The first car that I actually owned was an '99 K-Car. Bench seats FTW.

Good on ya Georgie!

Yes. Not possible to own a car a few years before it was made.

I've been driving my dad's '96 Odyssey for the past 4 years

Very comfy And great car to learn to drive on. Probably the main reason why I'm a pretty responsible driver. My friends however.........

I've never looked up the specs, but I'd guess it's not much more than 120HP. I'd slam the gas trying to merge onto the freeway.. and then I'd wait for it, wait for it, and then I look down and I'm going 45mph with the engine screaming. I was the butt of every joke.

But since it was a van.. oh, the stories I could tell...

Kidding, of course!

Hoping this car will last for a long, long time. The next car will probably be an addition to the family rather than a replacement

The E39 has been one of my favorite cars-- looks sporty and classy, and I'm lucky to have had a very good copy fall into my price range.

Some more details:

Model: 2002 BMW 530i with Sports Package
Title: Clean
Color: Kalahari Beige Metallic
Interior: Beige
Purchased with: 98,000 miles, with all dealer maintenance records from 0 to 97,500 miles
Purchase price: $8,800 + tax/registration, came out to be $10,000 out the door

I think I got a pretty darn good deal Also looked to get an Acura TSX, but the resale value on Acuras/Hondas are ridiculous. No one/dealer would take less than $14,000 + tax/registration for a 2004 model.

Here's another picture:
YOU have a good head on yur shoulders and I think you will take good care of such a fine automobile yes your fortunate to have a nice 1st vehichle.

Great to see your well deserved excitment You've been on here longer than mom so its to see ya get your OWN car

wondering if it will soon morph into the BMW logo

again CONGRATS

We all gotta pay our dues. I drove an '83 Horizon in high school. Automatic of course. The heater core was gone in it (awesome in winter) and I also believe the rear shocks (struts?) were in dire need of replacement for a long time. My friends and I just went with it, joking that I had a car with hydraulics, but didn't pay anything for it.

Enjoy your new ride!!
