There was a time when I felt like I was spending more time taking photos than actually being present so I stopped taking as many. And then I got a brain injury and my memory has gone to shit. As a result I appreciate photos more. I’ve heard the phrase, “You’ll always have the memories” but for lots of us that just isn’t the case.
