Look at the MOON!

I was going to take pictures of the superbloodmoon from the plane on my way home from Europe.
However, my rental car was broken into in Nice, and my suitcase and camera bag stolen, including the lens I would have used. The view through the plane window was kind of shitty anyway.
I probably won't be taking anymore moon pictures for some time. In fact, I am thinking about selling whatever camera equipment I have left, and considering a different hobby.
I have had thoughts of bashing the thieves skulls in with my golf clubs if I ever see them, so perhaps I should take up golf again.

Well, all I can say was that I stayed an extra night in Maine at the beach to get perfect viewing of the event. Unfortunately, nothing that I took with the iPhone is worth showing. But, I guess we can all wait another 18 years to see the next one.

I am not astronomically inclined, but based on the brightness, I suspect was was there was the moon, then above that a planet, then a star, then another planet.
