Yes! I get the USGS notifications for anything in the world 6.0+. Not as important as when I was on the Gwaii but still interesting.

Last night was the first in awhile you could actually see the moon here. Missed out on 5 nights of the northern lights because of so much cloud cover. :shakesfistangrilylikeageezer:

i tried to see the northern lights down here in the Seattle area but they didn't make it this far south or the moon was too bright.

No moon tonight in Woodiville, WA. Imagine that rain and very windy in the PAC NW in October. First time ever.
