Hey I'm up in Calgary in two weeks. Maybe I can get away from family stuff for lunch or something. (My brother probably would dig that... he drives a bright orange MazdaSpeed.)

PM me the details and I'll see who else is free to maybe do a lunch or something.

My pleasure!
At least your customs guys didn't keep it for a month and take a "sample" from it.

Yup! Canada Customs kept the box of choccies for almost a month. When it finally got to me, it had been opened and repacked (very poorly) and out of all the full wrappers in the box, one wrapper was empty. The little space was VERY obvious.

I had an employee who I let got to France (where he was from) to help a branch office. He was dying to go and it was really right that he should. So I said okay.

BUT I said he needed to bring me Foie Gras. (he is a good friend). He said okay.

On his trip home he had 3 (!) jars of Foie Gras but.... our friends in Customs needed to confiscate 2. Left him one but took 2. I'll say again... Left him one but took 2.

Is anyone under the impression that this is a first world nation?
