Yeah, that's why I mentioned STOCK. Although I won't be able to say that for long. CAI is on order. (No NO2 though )

Well the seats, door panels, and various other bits have been out for almost a week now. The CAI is the least of my issues.

This audio install is a PITA. In the meantime my smoked diffusers came in. I will probably work on that today and tomorrow. My Smoked side markers came in, those poped on in seconds. I should have the CAI today or tomorrow.

Hopefully I will have the whole car, with ALL my mods back on the road by next weekend. (Mabey midnight next sunday, but that's still the weekend, right?)

The Honda tech this week was trying to sell me on the Comptech Icebox, impressive torque gains, anyone have one?

I don't know anything about a comptech icebox, but there is that other icebox, the CF one that pulls air from under the car. I dunno about that.....seems even more of a risk than the AEM/Injen type. At least with those, you can put the bypass valve on when it going to rain...takes a min to do. The ice box...hmmm, you wounld have to remove the CF attachment and leave the filter open in the engine i.e hot air intake....but atleast you'd be safe. Before you naysayers say that hydrolock is a myth, I've seen it myself and it was not pretty.... That's my 2cents.

Supposedly it gets mounted up high, no water issue.

Look at the dyno chart .pdf at the torque gain at 2-3K RPM, a nice gain right where we need it!

Hydrolocked my 300Z Twin Turbo with CAI. Destroyed both turbos, hydrolocked the engine and bent several rods. It was a total loss. Definately not a myth trust me.

That is a damn nice boost in low end torque, anyone used this yet and do the numbers transfer to a nice take off?
