LS6 intake manifold - polished or not?

My intake is an LPE/Weiand aluminum piece, but I can't decide if I want the virgin aluminum finish, or polished finish...
Polished:
Virgin aluminum:
Or should I use the stock, black composite intake manifold? It can flow just as well (though it's more difficult to port), but doesn't heatsoak as much as the aluminum.
Stock LS6 intake:
It is a bit ugly, isn't it?
