The same VIdeo card manufacturers on the PC platform make the best MAC video cards ATI & Nvidia
Software is obviously is platform dependent, and sure there is more software for Pee-Cees, but how much of it is worthwhile?
OsX has changed the software availability landscape for Macs 
Since it is a rewrite/ compilation of UNIX...and with Xwindows you can pretty much run any UNIX app!! Dont even get me started on the virus propagation that you poor Windows people have to deal with

We buy hundreds of PC's for our customers. A few years ago I had a batch of 35 IBM pc's to set up and one of them was DOA. The IBM repair guy came and put a new mother board in and we were good to go!
