From: Come see me after class.
Phone conversation earlier today (not exact, but close):
Dad - Hey.
Me - Hey.
Dad - Guess what.
Me - Huh?
Dad - It's finally broken in.
Me - Already?
Dad - Ya.
Me - So how fast is it?
Dad - Heh - sickeningly fast. Today on the Beltway I floored it for the first time and when I let off the gas it made me sick to the stomach.
Me - [laughing out loud] Are you serious? How fast were you going?
Dad - Ya, I think I was at around 60 when I floored it; didn't stop until 140-something.
Me - Holy shit! One FORty?
Dad - Haha ya.
Me - So it really made you sick? Like nauseous?
Dad - Uh huh. It's the compression from the acceleration - your chest is just pressed into the seat and then when you let off, everything releases so suddenly. It reminds me of the old Twin Turbo.
Me - Is it faster than than the 300ZX?
Dad - Of shit ya. I literally laugh everytime I give it gas. You know how in your car, when you want to pass you have to drop 2 gears?
Me - Ya.
Dad - Well in my car, I just twitch my right foot.
Me - Ya, shut up.
And then we talk more for another few minutes about the car.
And I still haven't driven it (or even seen it in person).
