What the hell is this:

5 [ 3 2 ( 4 2 ) ]
Imagine the [ is one huge [ and the ( is one huge (
crap- it won't work
Anyhow this is what it reads:
negative 3/5ths outside [ 2/3rds minus half next to ( 3/4ths minus 1/2) ]
