hey whores,

I'm still trying to make up my mind. Looking for some possible help.

I think I want a new beater car. I'm trying to decide between the following cars.

Mini Cooper S: Pros (looks, fun-to-drive). Cons (overpriced, may be poor reliability, premium gas)

WRX: Pros (fun-to-drive, powerful, more practical). Cons (looks, cheap interior).

Civic Si: Pros (least expensive, fairly good performer, reliable). Cons (looks IMHO).
: Pros (even less expensive than Civic, can be eaten in an emergency). Cons (less "bling" factor, not good for picking up chicks, poor handling).

Since I'm currently single with no kids (that I know of), I am leaning toward the Mini. If I can get some opinions, then I'll be grateful.

For TJSan: check out the correct use of "than" and "then"

wrx only takes premium gas too...turbo

I would say WRX cause you can rally around the city with a pocket full of shells....and beat the hell out of it with the suspension travel....

Well, if you have stuff, and maybe some friends, then the WRX is pretty good but if you don't really need the extra room then I say Mini Cooper S. They're so cool!

I would go for the WRX. Cooper is cool, but not as practical since it is laking in space (IMHO).

And by the way Ninh, well done on the correct use of then and than

TJSan,
What kind of space is "laking"?

Wickster, it'll be no contest if Honda bring the Civic Type R here.

From what I understand the Cooper does not have good space in the back seats, and the boot (trunk) is pretty small as well in comparison to other cars of its size .....
