Geez another one John Amos passed away. Played the father James on the 70's t.v. show Good Times among many other things.

When I was growing up and ‘Good Times’ and ‘Star Wars’ were out around the same time, I used to think James Earl Jones & John Amos were the same person - not because they were black but because they were both portly gentlemen and they were popular around the same time.

How funny would it have been to hear ‘JJ, I am your father’ in James Earl Jones voice?
