He had a tracheotomy and a voice box. Had cancer in 2015 but beat it by 2016. If you haven't seen the movie 'Val' you should if you're a Kilmer fan.

Thanks for the compliment. My friend used AI and a bunch of pics of me to make it the other day and I loved the image so decided to put it as my new avatar.
As for ELScooby... It used to be my username back in 2008-11 on the KCSubaru forums that are now defunct. Scooby was a nickname for a Subaru, and I used to live in Mexico before then and speak Spanish. I like the idea of The Subaru/ELScooby. At least it sounded good in my head.
Oh, and I did grow up loving Scooby Doo so that didn't hurt either.

I get it as I hAd a friend on here years back when I lived in WA who I helped find & purchase her Subaru which she then named Scooby


That's her in it in my old garage in WA just after we got it for her! She was so excited

I've lost touch with her & her husband that was also on here, they had an S as well.
I once took her to Universal Studios here and we found Scooby Doo & got 's with him they even drive that Van from the cartoon around the lot

 

He died from Pneumonia.
