Tony-

I know you don't want to here this right now, but it was told to me after the last time I lost a dog and boy is it true. Allow yourself a proper grieving period, however long that may be. Then go out and carefully select a puppy that's just right for you. Really get into the puppy part of the relationship. It's the best thing in the world for healing. Good luck and, again, my deepest sympathies.
