The best I'd ever heard was like 9 minutes on bike... back when there was no traffic... 11 minutes in a car would be very hard without judicious use of the other lane...

You're correct, Billy, the bike record is in the low 9's; 9'18" or something IIRC. It was set by a guy I used to race against, and it was on a 600cc superbike w/slicks if memory serves.
