[quote name='WestSideBilly' date='Feb 14 2005, 06:20 PM'] My great grandpa had a stroke and basically lost control of the right half of his body... including his vision in the right eye.

We thought we lost my father several times. I even had to personally give him CPR once. But today "Valentines Day" is the anniversary of the heart transplant he received in 1997. I believe in miracles.

Have a safe journey mom! XOXO

I'm not doubting you mom but if he has a stroke in the brain, he should not loose vision only in the left eye.
He may have something happening in his left eye that needs to be checked out. Give me a call if you want to discuss.
sorry 'bout the sad news.
(if the following offends in anyway, apologies) If possible, come to the oyster thing with us next weekend. I'd love to meet up.

Aw VMom that's awful. I too have had family members, as well as close family friends experience this. You and your family are most certainly on the receiving end of my good vibes/thoughts/etc.
Tanks sweetie and I hope your family members and friends are all ok now
