Mom's Downhill Adventure.....................................
I had the pleasure of taking my Son and his Girlfriend to the Downhill Bike Event in Chelan W.A....... we had a GREAT time except for one unfortunate thing happening! To go to Chelan we go through a mountain pass (not a huge mountain pass) like 4100 feet elevation but a mountain pass none the less. They do get quite a bit of snow in the winter and we actually saw a little wet snow on the way back today. The unfortunate thing happened on the way over! We are on this two lane highway and its 60 MPH................. we have this IDIOT in front of us in an old Camaro (NOT A COOL OLD ONE) like an 80s one. Well he is weaving back n forth and going slow then speeding up. I am trying to get to pass him but there are not many oppertunities to pass SAFELY. So everytime I try he speeds up
so I finnally give up. Well then we get to the 2 lane highway and Im thinkin yes here is my chance to get around this guy. Well I get goin to pass him and we have the tunes cranked and were haveing a good ol time when 
come down on a TOTAL SPEED TRAP!!!! like 5 cops with like 5 cars pulled over!!! So Im thinkin uuhhoooooo and slow down. Well this cop on the side waves at me and Im thinkin he means just go around. Well then this Buddy a his comes flyin up on me with his lights on and I thought ohhh I guess he meant PULL OVER
so I did and YEP Mom got a TICKIE 75 in a 60 caught by aircraft he said. Well that put a little damper on the fun level. Then we get to the Hotel and they have screwed up my reservation so now Im really mad! Well its okay we had a GREAT time at the race! Enjoy the photos.................

Oh and the worst part is that I wasn't even in MY car
I was in the Tahoe and now Im gonna be really paranoid to do the Crazy Drive

Second photo is the loading of the Bikes/Riders into the trucks that haul them up to the top of the mountain. Which is HILLARIOUS cause they are like cattle litteraly and pack them into these trucks and even close the door on the ones that have a door so its PITCH BLACK inside
my Son said it was scary cause you can't see anything
