Well, the good news is that my dad did put the deposit on the Challenge Stradale - $20k - and I get to drive the E55 for 3 weeks while he's in the Philippines, but the bad news is that I just spent $262.45 on a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger and a large Coke.
After picking up the Benz, I stopped at Wendy's to satisfy my late-night munchies. Wendy's got it all right: Drive-thru open til 1am, and hella cheap food.
So then I was cruising at a cool 85mph on the Beltway (toll road), when I got picked on by a Lexus SC400 and Honda Accord. I'm not the one to sit idly by when bullied by the local ricers, so of course I put on a little show. The funny thing is I got a ticket not for speeding, or participating in a race, but for peeling out of the toll booth - Exhibition of Acceleration.
That's another $260 ticket.
Oh well. My fault.
