Koi was way too expensive....I tried. He wanted $40 for one the same size as the 6 inch goldfish for $6.

 

You should just stick your hand in the tank. Free, and your flesh always grows back. Just rotate hands so'll there will be enough flesh grown back between the feedings.

I always stick my hand in the tank....they're afraid of me....and damn well they should cause if one bites me....he'll be a pirahna fillet-O-Fish.

jesus...my friend Sam had some of those buggers....nearly ate him broke...LOL....

 

Actually Jim, you'd be surpised how cheap they are to feed. We feed them beef heart about once a week and you can buy a whole heart at the supermarket for $2-$3. One heart will last over a month. They also get flake food on occasion.

 

Geez, ive never had a fish longer than a couple of days. They dont do so well in tap water.

Buying those beta males on sale at wal-mart was fun though.

 

Oh I know, unfortunately Sam got the fish when he was a jobless sophomore in college....lol...
