So when will it be fixed?

A year after its successor is out.

Thanks everybody!

I'm thinking about buying a computer. I looked at 'switching' but I'm not convinced. I'm wary about buying XP if Vista (yeah I just heard it had been named... thanks G) is on the horizon but I'm sick of this old crap I'm running as my main machine. soooooo sloooowwwww.

Made me laugh that VTECGEEK was the first to answer.

Wait till the Macworld show next week. Steve has some intel chips up his sleeve.

That could be interesting. Maybe an intel machine running Mac, Win and Linux.

BTW, John, just out of curiosity, why aren't you convinced you should switch?

I'm thinking I probably will as soon as my current computer becomes obsolete (I just bought this computer a few months ago though so it'll probably last me a few years. I bought just the computer - just CPU and MB actually - it's running my old copy of W2K).

I would have bought a Mac a few months ago, except Steve said they were obsolete, and that I shouldn't waste my money.
