Weekend was fun... went to the SEMA International Auto Salon in Atlantic City... the Drive home was the best... we were stuck in about 4.5 hours of traffic... but cracking jokes and laughing our asses off the whole way...

 

i want to go to sema someday.

 

The show sucked. There wasn't that much stuff there... AND the guys said that the Import Models were all ugly!!

 

sounds like a fun show.

How was the ALMS race Mocky? I missed the highlights on the TV over here?

i was getting my butt kicked by allergies so bad yesterday at Mid-Ohio... today, woke up, still getting kicked in the ass so i took benadryl.. didn't realize you take benadryl BEFORE you go to sleep (unlike claritin).. so right now i'm falling out of my chair ...

alms was quite good...although the audis were taking it easy since they are heading out to lemans this week so they didn't want to push them. the paddock area was awesome..
my friend is a member of the corvette club so we hung out there for a while.. saw the new C6 Z06 (3 of them, actually).. they are pretty nice.. also hung out with the audi club people (2 of them own s2ks so it was cool).
overall, good time... the sounds they make as they slow down out of the back straightaway is amazing... it's also amazing to see how late they brake compared to say.. hmm.. an S2k (had a track day last summer)... Dsysons, Audis, Panoz, and Vettes all were crazy loud.

Yeah, we can't wait to get over to LM this year.

I love the sounds the cars make at idle, when you can hear almost every piston. Those cars aren't made to stand idle!
