Default My latest malady

Molly and FloJo, our little dogs, sleep in bed with us. They like to snuggle up to us....sometimes hard. Tuesday night one of them pushed me off the bed. I landed on my right hip on the hardwood floor (the same leg as my fractured ankle). My chiropractor took X-rays and found no fracture. However, that's where my hip replacement is. He sent me to my orthopedic surgeon, who sent me for a CAT scan this morning because titanium the implant could have been blocking a fracture behind it. My surgeon just called: no fracture. However, there's quite a bit of pain and I can't put much weight on the leg. So, I've regressed from using a cane and being almost ready to walk on my own to using a walker again. On a happier note, I start my 12 sessions of outpatient physical therapy for my ankle on Monday. This hasn't been my year so far.

I highlighted the one notable choice in wording here RB
I can't believe a 2 Lb dog could push you off the bed

regardless I HOPE your wearing a mask at all these Medical facilities
& recover soon.

Molly and FloJo weigh 8 lbs each. You know them, Mom. They like to push. One way or the other, it happened. Masks of course. When I went to USC Verdugo Hills Hospital, I wore gloves. At the front door they said: "No gloves, we do hand sanitizer."

Maybe you could get them a nice comfy bed to have next to yours.

Maybe USC should recruit Molly and Flo Jo, Lord knows USC needs help on their offensive and defensive lines.

They've always slept with us.

Pro: At least you haven't been wrasslin' aligators
Con: SHEESH!! Molly!! Flo Jo!!!

Happy healing George. I was considering coming down to buy some Horn components at The Horn Guys (S. Pasadena Ave.), but now. . . no gigs, no need.
