My pleasant day yesterday.....NOT!
First my colorectal surgeon looked up my pazzuty and said my anal fissure was completely healed. Hooray, I can ride the Lifecycle at the gym again! Then my urologist stuck a catheter with a camera up my penis and into my bladder (ugh!). I have a fistula in my bladder near where it connects with my colon. He showed it to me on the monitor.
It can be fixed when they resection my colon. Now that they know what's going on, they can schedule the surgery. Look out, Mom, another morphine addled Raptor call.

Mom, I haven't been delaying it at all. The surgery couldn't be scheduled until they figured out what is wrong with my bladder. I'm neither a delayer nor a cheater.

I was kind of kidding, too, Mom. And, actually, I did postpone it until after college football was over. It worked out, though. If I had the surgery on 12/7 I would be looking at new urinary tract surgery.
