My heart aches for you and your family and I hope all turns out ok. Last year was a crappy year (understatement of the century, but I'm trying to stop cussing) for health in the world of my family and friends and I was hoping that everything would calm down after the new year started. I'm so sorry to hear about your stepdad and can understand the drop-off in motivation. It's exceedingly difficult to keep fighting day after day after day and all I can advise from my own experience is that you (or those around your stepdad if you're not there), keep encouraging him and talking with him and, when necessary, distracting him from what he's going through.

 

I am so sorry... Try to keep your head up and rest... don't need you all worn out and unable to assist your family!

Anything you need, just ask... I am sure I can speak for everyone here... we are all there for you no matter what!!!!

 

Both you and your stepdad & family are in our thoughts.

 

Jake keep your chin up You can be a source of inspiration for him! We will all keep the positive vibe and prayers for you and your family!

Thanks.... they are already taking measures and precautions and plans for if it is the cancer trying to come back. He seemed in better spirits today a lil my Mom told me. It is just a hard time because I have no car, am trying to get another car, take apart and sell my 240 to make up for my loss, get back in school, and now my stepdad having complications. I feel like I just can't get anything done without something else going wrong, and its hard to see my stepdad do so well then this happen. I am just going to keep the positive thoughts that if he pulled through it well the first time, then this should be just another hill to make it over.
