New Bicycle: Raleigh, The Gazelle
So I got a bike being disposed of as scrap the other day, wanted to turn it into a single-speed lesuire bike.
Turns out it was made between 1938-1943, but I can't find much more info on it.
It is in pieces while I clean/refurbish internals, but all it is really missing are a couple nuts and a shifter linkage.

Definitely pre '43 as Raleigh changed the name of its economy brand bike, the Gazelle to Robin Hood about then...
As it was a lower tier bike, I would not expect to find much info about it.
I have a GS made at Worksop but it was much later in the mid 70s.
Production was halted at the Carlton factory at Worksop around 1988.
