There's been a nasty rumor going around lately that I might have a new car. Well, I wanted to take a moment to put the rumors to rest........so here are some pics!!

I took about 20 pictures today, but the rest of the day was pretty much spent behind the wheel just driving around in search of winding back roads around Tacoma. I couldn't scrape the grin off my face if I tried!
As you've probably heard, it's a 1992 Miata and her name is "Guiness" in honor of her black & tan color scheme. The car has something like 130,000 miles on the clock, but the compression checks out good and it's as strong as one can expect from the tiny little 1.6L motor. Not a power monster, but she corners like she's redefining the laws of inertia!
Anyway, the car's a total blast and I really couldn't be happier right now! This car is exactly what the doctor ordered...and it'll be even better tomorrow morning when the CD player is installed!
Why thank you, Arvin! So far I'm having too much fun for words. I got lucky today, too, and the sun actually came out! Forecast is rain the rest of the week, though...
I guess I get to see how she handles in the wet, now...

I was wondering if anyone would notice the difference. It's actually not the whole center cap that's missing, but just the little blue badge in the center of the center cap. I'll probably just pop it off the other two...
