I got to see my first mini on the road yesterday. I only wish two things had been different. That I had been closer for a better look and that I would've had my camera to post a pic.

AnDy you're into these. Have you seen any out and about yet?

I think cthree had a drive in one, there is a thread about it on this site somewhere.

 

We saw one at Buttonwillow at the end of April - some guy had rented it for the day and was racing it around on the track. He was buddies with someone in a yellow s2000, and I guess they had a near miss resulting in the guy in the Mini going off into the dirt . They weren't speaking for much of the day, but guess they made up eventually.

It is a cool little car!

I see them all the time in LA. One was parked down the street from my house on Saturday. They only weigh something like 250 lbs less than the S.

 

yup, they are getting more common in here....but I still like the look.
