On those typical days I think most people would say that I'm overpaid for the amount of work I seem to do. Well, for the next three days I'm REALLY overpaid!!!

Why, you ask? Ok, maybe you didn't ask, but I'll tell you anyway.

For the next three days not only am I technically working my normal job, but I am ALSO being paid to sit in an office and provide sys admin support for a local company. Seems that their IT department of 3 people are all out of the office until Tuesday, so I am being contracted at $25/hour to sit here and essentially do nothing unless something breaks.

So, here I sit in a private office with a BIG monitor and a bunch of servers to play with if I get bored...but mostly I'll

At this rate I could probably take on a THIRD job and still not have to actually do any work today!

 

It helps that the head of the IT department here has been a good friend of mine for 13 years...
