530am is a RIDICULOUS time for a flight to take off.

 

That it is. My wife and I had a flight that was scheduled around 7am and we needed to be there by 5am because it was international. We were flying to Europe for our 20th anniversary a few years back and when we got up at 4 to get stuff loaded in the car I got an email from American Airlines(at 3am) that they had canceled our flight. No phone call, just an email. It was like pulling teeth to get someone to help us get a new flight. We didn't leave until 2 days later and missed the main reason we were going on the trip. To go to a music concert, on the beach in Malaga, to see Alejandro Sanz, my wife's favorite artist. The trip was planned around that.
