Official "-1" thread....
So...
I will start...
I've been "-1" for about a year now...
It was a downer for a while. Went out with a few persons during this time but really didn't enjoy it...
(no, I am still playing for the same team - reference from Seinfeld for those who are wondering)
Lately, I've come to enjoy the freedom...
B/c I believe it'll happen again and there's no sense in being sad. You should really enjoy everyday.
Today I went to the driving range and hit the balls while it was pouring. I actually really enjoyed it.
Still miss her though...

I've been -1 (long relationship wise) for 1 1/2 years. Dated some guys since then (6 months, 2 months), but nothing worthy of my heart.
I feel that everything happens for a reason, and I'm not going to sweat it. I'm waiting for the guy who makes me feel important and will like me for my positives, and who will work with me on my negatives.

I've been -1 for a little over a year and a half. I find when I'm single I think about getting into a relationship and having a family and when I'm in a relationship I think about being single. I'm pretty cool with being single now but sometimes I get depressed when I see kids and think of how I would like to have some of my own.
The worst part of being single is the in-between time. It's hard to kick back and take advantage of the solitary time. It's really cool when you can be alone and not feel lonely. But, like Rob said, it's easy to get depressed when you have friends who are hooked up or you're just in a social situation where there are a lot of couples.
I distinctly recall both sides. When you're with someone, and you're past that exciting stage (say, 3-4 months), and other folks are starting to look mighty good. And, I remember the "pining" stage when you really miss someone in particular.
Be comfortable with yourselves. That's the best advice I can give. If you're desperate, people can smell it a mile away; nothing good ever comes from those times.

wicky!
BTW, I tried working that line with my FP for years, but she kept on breaking up with me. Finally, I caved.

Kids can be fun, but.... Yeah, there sure are plenty of 'em. I dunno' wick, someone's gotta pay our social security!
