Well, there were 2 threads that brought interest. The infamous "IT's finally here" thread where he bolstered about his E55 and then gave lots of "pics", but suspicion grew and someone found out that it was the EURO spec E55, and gave links to the pictures.. After much interrogation on many threads, he confessed here:

The funny part is that there are threads entitling "E55 or 550M" (something along those lines, not direct quote), and he ends up getting both!

 

What does it all matter?

You all (or at least most) appreciate alex's contributions to this site. Why the fixation? If you really want to see pics of a 575M or an E55 I'm sure there are plenty of pics out there?

How many of you have seen a pic of my car? Nothing special right. What about the cars I have, I have never spoke of? What difference does it make?

It is a simple question of integrity at this point, and if he has it by backing up his talk. Nothing more than that.

 

Alex, by the way, not that it will mean anything to you....but if you reread what I wrote, and listened to anyone at all, you would know that I truly do hope you have these toys. I think you are a good kid, and just want to put this all to an end. If you step back and look at this whole thing, and if you were on the outside looking in, you would be thinking just like some of the people in here. Again, I want to believe you, but just think it would be good to finish off the puzzle with the proof. Especially after that fiasco with the E55 pics on that other thread....

As for the other stuff, the thread Billy is talking about was just a big misunderstanding. I often posted threads with clever titles ("Picture from my 2nd floor balcony") and pics of about 25 AMGs, which were obviously not mine. As Billy said, it was obvious to all but a few that it was a joke; It was one of dozens of such threads.

What Adrian is talking about where I lost most of my credibility. I posted pics that I stole from MBWorld and claimed them to be my dad's E55.

That's the story.

 

I made an offer, and it was my fault that I couldn't keep it. Big deal. I volunteered my dad's time and cars without his knowing; I just assumed he wouldn't mind. Crucify me for assuming wrong.

But it is your fault that because of this you assume I'm full of B.S.
