I once had this 1/2 Jamaican chiropractor who did this voodoo thing and told me that my lower back pain was caused by my anger at my late father for not buying me a telescope when I was 13.

 

And I have this asshole neighbor who said he was putting in a swimming pool, when he really was building a two-srory house that would block our view of the mountains. When he first got started, Mrs. Raptor overheard the construction workers and asked me "Raptor, do swimming pools have doors?"

 

I had some quack homeopathic doctor instruct me to get a colonic to help my back pain.

After three days of colonic treatments, I was embarassed, out $150, my back hurt more than ever and I felt like a telephone pole had taken up permanent residence in my ass.

 

my gf wants more of a commitement than just living together and being monogomous! It's become an ultimatum of promise of a ring or I stop wasting my time.

 

Damn, dude, that one is tough.

My first wife gave me shit in the same scenario. I bought a boat, and she was pissed off that I didn't put a ring on her finger. We had talked about marriage, but I had never proposed.

The marriage didn't last, and I regret being told that I had to propose... kind of defeated the purpose.

PLease don't think I'm offering advice, It just reminds me of a similiar experience that I had. I hope it works out, whatever you should decide to do.
