I've been dying to get home to go to a game

It's funny...you'll see guys walkin around with Yankee hats here in DC....I learned very quickly not to bother asking:

"So, Yankee fan, huh?"
"HELL NO...I'm an O's fan"
"Um...then why are you wearing a Yankee cap?"
"'Cuz the O's hat looks stupid"

It's not just a team...it's a fashion statement

I actually scammed tickets to the Subway series to give to my dad for fathers day.....used the "legitimate" connections but I got em. And of course he is going to take me so its all gravy


As for the Yanks being a fashion statement....the truth in that is ridiculous....There is NO NYC person who doesnt own a piece of Yankee apparel. DIEHARD Mets fans have Yankee caps or tees. But let them see u wearing ure Jeter, Soriano or Clemens jerseys at a Met home game and the freak


Yankee fans have a little bit of love for all teams....Any fans who like other teams have NO love for the yankees...its rather ironic

Q.T. I hear ya...My family has season tickets, but because I am down here the only games I get to go are the ones against the O's. I love it when people give me crap about being a winner picker because of all the years I've been a fan when they truly sucked.
